ARI UP
The Festival joins all statements of love for Ari Up after the announcement of her death last Wednesday.
We invited the Slits for the festival’s tenth anniversary in 2007 and their show was one of the most intense highlights of « Les Femmes s’en mêlent ». It is mainly thanks to the personnality of Ari, a warmy hearted, passionate, generous, and definitely independent artist.
For many acts playing the festival this same year (CSS, Plastiscines, or Ebony Bones), she was a musical reference.
The Slits, an iconic band.. Ari Up, an artist who will stay in our heart forever.
